Motherboard

Motherboard:-

System unit is the main components is the pc to which other components are connected.
      Such as:
                  1. Motherboard
                  2. Microprocessor
                  3. Memory(RAM,ROM)
                  4. Power supply
                  5. Hard disk drive
                  6. Optical disk drive

 Motherboard:
     Motherboard is the main components of a system.It is a printed circuit board.Where the components are  connected.
     
Types of motherboard:
  
      There are two types of motherboard...
      
         1. Integrated
         2. Non-integrated 

 1. Integrated motherboard:
    
       A motherboard which have all the parts for connecting various device on board known as integrated motherboard.
       
2. Non-integrated motherboard:

       A motherboard which do not support connecting device are known as non-integrated motherboard.
      
Uses of motherboard:

        1. Desktop motherboard
       2. Laptop motherboard
       3. Server motherboard

 1. Desktop motherboard:

     a. It is used in personal or desktop computer.
    b. Desktop motherboard has one processer socket.
    c. Desktop motherboard use 8 to 9 hours.
    d. 1 or 2 memory slot use can find on the desktop motherboard.
    
2. Server motherboard:

     a. A server motherboard is types of a computer that couardinates and work with other computer over a network.
    
Manufacturer of motherboard:

               1. Intel
              2. Asus
              3. Gigabyte
              4. MSI
              5. Acer
              6. Biostar

 Processer socket:

       Processer socket is use for connect the processer with the motherboard.

 Types of processer socket:

      There are two types of processer socket.
               
                 1. PGA (pin grid array)
                 2. LGA(land grid array)

 1. PGA: The pin is in the processor.
2. LGA: The pin is in the motherboard.

 LIF socket: 
         It is stand for LOW INSERTION FORCE.
   It is old model socket.
   
ZIF socket:
        It is stand for ZERO INSERTION FORCE.
    It is present model socket.
    
Note:
        LIF has no leaver but ZIF has a leaver.
